What did you like about the book?  A little girl extols the value of spreading happiness and joy to both her friends of many ethnicities and some from the animal kingdom.  “When you see something terrific..smile a smile and pass it on.”  The rhythmic text bounces along and is complemented by the bright graphic illustrations.  This is a lovely story about positivity and children will be sure to join in with the refrain “pass it on.”

Anything you didn’t like about it?  No

To whom would you recommend this book?  This is a great book to share with readers that is full of positivity and joy.  A nice addition to units on feelings.

Should we (librarians/readers) put this at the top of our “to read” piles?   No
