What did you like about the book? Papillon, the fluffy floating kitty is back in a second book. His best friend is a little red bird. They have a lot of fun playing catch with a stuffed mouse until Papillon accidentally swallows it. He had hiccups that would not go away and he could no longer float! So it’s off to the vet’s – for an overnight…. A fit of uncontrollable hiccups dislodges the swallowed mouse – and all is well. The illustrations are beyond cute done with watercolor, colored pencil, ink and photoshop. The book could have been wordless, the illustrations conveying every situation and nuance.

Anything you did not like about this book? I liked everything about this book!

To whom would you recommend this book? Recommend to those who read The Very Fluffy Kitty, Papillon – and to all cat lovers.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries and day-cares.

Where would you shelve it? Picture Books

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Sure, why not?
