What did you like about the book? Learning about the Inuit practices surrounding multiple naming and the Inuit custom of open adoptions provides a multicultural opportunity for all to appreciate the wisdom of these Inuit traditions. When Laura Deal shares her own story and the story for her daughter, within the Inuit culture, we are all enriched. The illustrations were simple and accessible, drawing us into the story, allowing us to experience the wisdom of the Inuit culture.
