What did you like about the book? This board book presents the words a baby can learn about the parts of their day, from waking up and getting dressed, through going to sleep. Word labels show objects, actions and sounds. Edge tabs allow the reader to select the section desired. Playful color drawings of the child and their two dads, a mixed race couple, make the book fun and present many ways to talk about a child’s day. A wooly mammoth toy is present on each page opening, so adults and child can play a search and find game. An adorable addition to the board book shelf.
To whom would you recommend this book? This book is great for any family looking to introduce familiar words in Spanish to a child, and has special value as it presents a loving same sex couple as parents.

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No
