What did you like about the book?  In this 7th book of the series, a baby sea lion is left with the lighthouse family while his mother helps an injured puffin.  The book takes place in the fall, and Pandora the cat, Seabold the dog and the three little mice children, Whistler, Lila and Tiny are getting the lighthouse ready for the coming colder weather.  Whistler and Lila explore the island in the first chapter “ Fall Days,”  baby sea lion Topper appears in Chapter 2, “A Baby,” and his mother returns in the final chapter “Mary’s Return.”  This is the perfect series for readers ready to tackle chapter books.   The three short chapters contain beautiful pencil illustrations that break up the text and complement the story.
