What did you like about the book?  A child invites the reader to be quiet and listen to the sounds all around the house.  “Sssh! Listen, what’s the noise?”  A tour of the house, occupied by Dad, a baby brother , a dog and a cat, finds noises everywhere.  Along with the narrative text, the pages are filled with more sound words:  “”Slosh” “Clatter” Dad is washing dishes, “Zzzzzzz” “Snuffle” “Woof” the dog is sleeping, “Rustle” “Swish” as the child reads a book.  One can hear all kinds of sounds in their household until all with a good night kiss, “Whisper” “Mwahfff” all is quiet.  The bright illustrations pop with color and detail to complement the story,
