What did you like about the book?  Readers begged the author for a third book about Lara Jean and they will not be disappointed in the conclusion of the series.  Lara Jean is a high school senior who is worriedly awaiting college acceptance notifications while looking forward to prom, the senior trip to NYC, Beach Week and graduation.  She is dating handsome lacrosse player Peter and they have already been planning the college life at UVA.  Peter got in as an athlete on early decision and Lara Jean should be a sure bet.  UVA is her first choice, not only because of Peter, but because it will allow her to be close to home – her dad and 12-year-old sister Kitty.  Older sister Margot is attending college in Scotland, but Lara Jean has different plans.  But the best laid plans can go awry and Lara Jean must learn to readjust This is a wonderful conclusion to the series and a great coming of age story. The characters are all fully developed and the story is filled with humor, first love, friendship and family.

To whom would you recommend this book?  Fans of Jenny Han and the previous two titles in the series, To All the Boys I Loved Before, clamored for this one and will not be disappointed.

Who should buy this book?  Public libraries and high school libraries

Where would you shelve it? YA fiction

Should we (librarians/readers) put this at the top of our “to read” piles?  Yes, especially if you read the first two titles in the series.
