What did you like about the book?  Gloria a little purple rhino loves glitter, it’s even her favorite color. Gloria scoots around town spreading glitter “And everywhere Gloria went, she left a little bit of happiness behind her.”  She thinks everyone loves the glitter, but the illustrations show that isn’t true.  They try to scrub the glitter off of her, but that just spreads it even more:  “…(as everyone knows) once glorious glitter is used, it goes everywhere.”  Soon the whole town is covered, “But instead of shouting and stomping and snorting there was smiling, giggling, chuckling, and chortling.  Just like the glitter that was spread all around, the happiness traveled right through the town!” When The bright colorful illustrations have raised areas of glitter scattered throughout making this a great sensory experience.
