What did you like about the book? Fox, Hedgehog, Mouse and Rabbit love stories even though they have only one book which they read each night at bedtime. One day they wonder if maybe they could find another book to read. Hedgehog thinks they might be dug up from the ground, while Rabbit thinks they might fall from the sky. The four friends set out on a book hunt and actually find one in the woods. They eagerly read the story but find a note inside that says it belongs to Bear. They set out to return the book and discover Bear’s house is filled with books. Bear arrives home and finds sticky paw prints on his books and calls “‘Who’s been reading my books!!’” Bear soon realizes that books are even better when shared with friends and the story ends with him opening a library. The full color illustrations are filled with wonderful details and lots of expression. A great book for bibliophiles.
