What did you like about the book? Otto is little rhino who has a hard time waiting for anything. He wants everything NOW and usually gets in trouble when he is impatient. When his mom announces a trip in a few weeks, Otto needs some help waiting for the trip to happen. When it is finally time to go and his parents say NOW, Otto isn’t ready as he can’t find his favorite stuffed animal. There is a happy ending. This is a great book to help children learn to wait.
Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about this book, even the tension at the end when Otto can’t find his stuffed animal.
To whom would you recommend this book? This is for children ages 3-6. This book is helpful for teachers to read to children who have trouble waiting their turn.
Who should buy this book? Public school libraries, elementary school libraries
Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books
Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? yes
