What did you like about the book? Little Sister Rabbit is so excited to go out on an adventure without her big brother.  She gets to jump in puddles, scare bugs (not really!), and make little boats the way she wants to.  She’s so glad that big brother isn’t there to tell her what to do.  But as the day continues, she realizes that she’s lost!  She finds a den, looks inside, and discovers that other rabbits live there.  The next hold has a badger that lives there.  The third hole she looks in has foxes in it and she gets out of there quick!  What will Rabbit do?  She hears her big brother calling her.  She gets to go home with him as he encourages her to be more careful.

The illustrations are so cute! Little Sister Rabbit has little sneakers that get all wet and a yellow diaper.  She is so curious and probably a real troublemaker who likes to do things her way!

Anything you didn’t like about it?  There is nothing I didn’t like.

To whom would you recommend this book?  This is a cute little story for kids who love bunnies. Some read-a-likes are “Bear Feels Scared” by Karma Wilson and Nilsson’s other books about Little Rabbit and her adventures.

Who should buy this book? Children’s libraries

Where would you shelve it? juvenile picture books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
