What did you like about the book? This is one of the One-2-One series in which two different teens tell their stories in alternating chapters. They are all participating in the Best Buddies program at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School. Erika is fifteen, loves to dance and sing and hang out with her friends. Her Best Buddy is Gianni, 16, who also loves to sing and dance. He also has a secret. Both characters are well-developed, believable and sympathetic. Reluctant readers will welcome this story with short chapters and an interesting plot.

Anything you did not like about this book? No.

To whom would you recommend this book? This is an excellent story for teenagers who are dealing with discovering just who they are.

Who should buy this book? Public and high school libraries

Where would you shelve it? Young adult fiction

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Not quite but a good choice for high school teens dealing with identity issues.
