What did you like about the book?  This graphic novel brings readers back into the world of The Lunar Chronicles picking up right after the events of Winter.  Readers unfamiliar with the novels are brought up to date with the story with a prologue that introduces each of the main characters from the series: “ Once upon a time, there were nine unlikely heroes…”  The evil Queen Levana has been defeated and Cinder sits on the lunar throne, but peace between Luna and Earth is still at risk. This volume focuses on Iko, an android, who is on a voluntary mission to rid Earth of the former queen’s wolf-hybrid soldiers which are still causing death and destruction on Earth. As with the novels, the graphic novel is full of action, humor and romance.  All of the series characters make an appearance and the story illustrates the power of their friendship.  The art work in tones of blue and grey perfectly captures the characters, setting and action.  Readers will be eagerly awaiting volume 2.
