What did you like about the book? Babies will love this action-filled version of the classic song. Each of the sturdy board pages includes a manipulative and a verse of the song. A happy little dog, a bunny and cat row their boat through varied habitats. The first double page spread is the traditional text of the song and is set in the countryside. The three rowers then travel through the woods, a polar world and the jungle. Each habitat includes a new original verse. The rhyming verse will make it easy for the children to recite. For the Arctic page the verse is “Row, row, row your boat, Gently down the river. And if you see a polar bear, Don’t forget to shiver!” The illustrations include an igloo, a penguin and seals while a tab reveals a large and small polar bear. The bright digital illustrations are full of detail and color. Unlike the usual pull tab, these extra sturdy pages often have little rings for small fingers to move. The book includes a QR code for a free download of the song.
