What did you like about the book?  This is a sweet story that shows how everything can be better with a hug and a kiss.  Rhyming text is paired with soft colored illustrations of animals.  “Little or large, there’s enough love to share.  With big hugs and kisses we show that we care.”  The cover features a pair of pandas surrounded by hearts, while inside pages show animal mothers, fathers, and friends sharing cuddles and love.  A nice read aloud for bedtime.

Anything you didn’t like about it?  The rhyme is a tiny bit forced at times, but it works overall.

To whom would you recommend this book?  Parents looking for a sweet bedtime read aloud will enjoy this one.

Who should buy this book?  Public libraries

Where would you shelve it? Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this at the top of our “to read” piles? No
