What did you like about the book? In this Mr. Postmouse adventure Mr. Postmouse is going on vacation with his family. Since the job of mail delivery is never done, he is bringing along a wagonload of parcels. The mouse family camps next to Aunt Claudette’s camper for the night. Next is a trip to the beach followed by sea travel on the Rosetta. Visiting a volcanic island to deliver a package to Tarzan and visit their friend, Dragon. To the desert and the jungle and a city stop before heading to the mountains. Onto the Arctic followed by a hot-air balloon ride! And finally back home; this family really knows how to vacation! The illustrations, teaming with details in the manner of Richard Scarry, and travels to so many different destinations cannot help but fascinate children.

Anything you did not like about this book? Not a thing.

To whom would you recommend this book? There are other Mr. Postmouse books: Mr. Postmouse’s Rounds, Mr. Postmouse Goes on Holiday and Here Comes Mr. Postmouse. Either read these after or before this new adventure of Mr. Postmouse.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries and lower elementary school grades.

Where would you shelve it? Picture books

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Children who enjoyed the previous Mr. Postmouse book, Mr. Postmouse ‘s Rounds will more than welcome the arrival of this book!
