What did you like about the book? In a cute lift-the-flap board book, children can guess which baby animal is hiding behind the flaps. A chicken finds a baby chick, a sheep finds a lamb, a cat finds a kitten a donkey finds a little donkey and finally a duck finds a mother duck, but then another flap reveals three baby ducklings. Each flap includes the appropriate animal sounds: Cheep! Cheep! Baa! Baa! Meow! Meow! Hee-haw! Hee-Haw! and finally Quack! Quack! The engaging illustrations in a bright springtime color palette are full of child appeal. This is a fun choice for children who love animals, animal sounds and lift-the-flap books.
