What did you like about the book?  Readers who like a mix of humor with their horror will enjoy this sequel to Evil Librarian.  Cyn is looking forward to spending the summer at theater camp with her boyfriend Ryan.  The two had begun dating after defeating a demon in the form of their school librarian Mr. Gabriel.  Cyn wants to forget all about that, especially the fact that in order to win she had made a deal with a demoness to revisit the demon world two more times when summoned. Now at camp she is confronted with Ryan’s camp friend, Jules, who is a little to close to Cyn’s boyfriend for her liking.     But this teen drama is overshadowed when Cyn realizes that there is a demon at camp and that Mr. Gabriel is not really dead and is back for revenge.   Filled with teen drama, which by the way one of the demon’s feeds on, humor and a bit of supernatural horror this is sure to be a popular read.

Anything you didn’t like about it?  No, although readers should be advised that there is some use of profanity.

To whom would you recommend this book?  Fans of the first book, Evil Librarian, will welcome this new adventure.  Hand it to readers who enjoy black humor and teen dram with a supernatural twist.

Who should buy this book?  Public libraries

Where would you shelve it? YA fiction

Should we (librarians/readers) put this at the top of our “to read” piles? No
