Genre:  Picture book

What did you like about the book? Bear has just gotten cozy against a tree for a nice nap when Bug comes along to sit on his nose. The cleverly rhyming story continues where the bug just wants some of that nice warm fur to share and the bear just wants to be rid of the pesky pest. When a wise owl shows up, he introduces Bug to someone who just might want a visitor and everyone is happy in the end. The illustrations are large and colorful and the rhyming text is not forced. It flows nicely and because of this, would make a perfect read-aloud at a story time.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book.

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Children ages 2-5 will love the illustrations and the rhyming story.

Who should buy this book? Libraries with children’s rooms. This is a great read-aloud book for a library story hour.

Where would you shelve it ? Picture books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  yes
