What did you like about the book?  This books gives a history of Stonehenge and many of the myths surrounding it.  The book details the types of stones that form Stonehenge, early theories about its formation, new archeological discoveries, and tourism past and present.  As with all the books in the series, there are also  additional articles such as “Henges,”  “Carbon-14 Dating,” “UFOs?” and “Graffiti at Stonehenge.”  The book includes a Timeline of Stonehenge as well as a Bibliography.  Black and white illustrations include maps.  A useful title for readers interested in Stonehenge or planning a visit.
