What did you like about the book? Officer Katz is determined to capture The Great Houdini in this pun-filled story. Every year The Great Houdini comes to town and defaces the portrait of Kitty City’s founder, Davy Crock-Cat, with a drawn on mustache. Officer Katz is also an inventor and is sure that one of his “Katz-traptions” will do the trick. In the end, Officer Katz and Houdini decide to join forces and take their act on the road. The illustrations are full of color and expression. The endpages give the reader an idea of the humor in the story with a map of aptly towns for their animal denizens: Dogtown, Nutbury (squirrels), New Pork (pigs), West Cheddar (mice) and Mane (horses.) Readers who love puns will love this story.
