Format: Board book
Rating: (1-5, 5 is a starred review) 3
Genre: Picture book
What did you like about the book? This first book of prayers is a child oriented book that teaches children to talk to God. It is book filled with pictures of children, sunshine and cuddly animals. There is a letter to parents at the beginning that talks of the importance of reading aloud to children and having a time each night set aside to give thanks. The cover is padded and the book is sturdy enough for little hands to handle.
Anything you didn’t like about it? Anyone who is not Christian would not like this book. It has a self selecting audience.
To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Christian children ages 2-5 will enjoy this.
Who should buy this book? Parents. I wouldn’t buy it for a library.
Where would you shelve it ? N/A
Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
