What did you like about the book? In a story told in three short chapters, two turtles find a hat. They both try it on and like it, but agree that, “It looks good on both of us. But it would not be right if one of us had a hat and the other did not.” They head off to watch the sunset, but one turtle is looking back at the hat. In the last chapter, one turtle waits till the other is asleep and creeps toward the hat. But the sleeping turtle relates that he is dreaming that they both have hats. This makes the other turtle decide to leave the hat where it is. This is a simple story about friendship and sharing that will be enjoyed by fans of Jon Klassen’s other titles.
