What did you like about the book?  The story of the nativity is retold through simple text and illustrations.  The author ’s goal is to connect the biblical story with the experiences of present day refugees.  The illustrations are rendered in tones of grey and complement the simple text.  The book states that !1 from each U.S, sale will be donated to USA for UNHCR, the UN refugees agency.  

Anything you didn’t like about it?  No

To whom would you recommend this book?  This simple retelling of the Christmas story would be enjoyed by young children.  

Who should buy this book?  Public libraries

Where would you shelve it? Holiday picture books
