What did you like about the book? In a rip-roaring Western adventure Paws McDraw is always able to use his pencil to save the day. Is the orphanage on fire? Paws draw a heard of elephants and a bucket of water and the orphans are saved. A baby bunny traded down the well? Paws draws a bucket on a rope and brings the baby to safety. The bunnies have a cupcake party in Paws’ honor when he saves the baby bunny, but then the “Rascally Raccoon Gang” arrives to cause trouble. Paws tries his best, but the raccoons are prepared and seem unstoppable. Then Paws calls on his friends and they are able to save the day together. The addition of character’s dialogue in colored word bubbles adds to the fun of the story. “Save our cupcakes!” “Well, thats the end of the hoedown.” “Now there’ll be a showdown!” The illustrations range from full page to comic style panels both horizontal and vertical. This is a fun story that will have readers hoping to see more of Paws McDraw and his exciting action-packed adventures.
