What did you like about the book?  The tale of Snow White is retold with more magic, adventure, dragons and romance.  Princess Lorelai suspects that her aunt Irina is using black magic to seize control of the king and the kingdom of Ravenspire.  When her attempt to thwart the queen goes wrong, Lorelai must go on the run to protect herself and her younger brother.  The princess is determined to hone her own magic in order to overthrow Queen Irena and save her people.  Prince Kol has suddenly found himself king of Eldr, a land that is being destroyed by ogres.  This dragon king makes a deal with Queen Irina to save his kingdom. He unknowingly commits himself to becoming her huntsman and securing the heart of Lorelai.  Lorelai is a strong warrior princess who is able to defend herself and even saves the prince!  The author creates a wonderful new world which readers will be eager to visit again very soon.

To whom would you recommend this book?  Readers who love fairytales retold will welcome this new series.  It would be enjoyed by those who like new takes on classic fairytales such as The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer or A Wicked Thing by Rhiannon Thomas.
