What did you like about the book? Three issues of the Action Lab: Dog of Wonder comic bound together. Percy the Action Lab runs an operation to rescue dogs that are scheduled to be euthanized at the Canaan City dog pound. Did I mention that he is himself a dog? A Labrador retriever. He has a special Avengers-like disguise that makes him seem like a human, and a jet pack for quick getaways. Clever dogs and hapless humans make for dog-centered action adventure. In between the three sections there are Q & A sections with a pit bull dog rescue organization. A luminous color palette, sparse background and clearly identifiable dog breeds make this a pleasurable easy adventure graphic.

To whom would you recommend this book?  This clearly is meant for dog lovers.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Graphic novels

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No
