What did you like about the book? Two brothers, Flynn and Paddy, live on an island with their parents and their chocolate lab, Coco. Told in nicely rhyming prose, Coco is carried off by a dragon! Naturally no one believes the boys so they have to rescue Coco themselves. The illustrations are exciting and dramatic, doing a perfect job of illustrating this fun story.

Anything you didn’t like about it? Not a thing.

To whom would you recommend this book? Give this to kids who like adventure and drama in their stories, plucky resourceful heroes and also dragons

Who should buy this book? Public libraries and lower elementary school libraries.

Where would you shelve it? Picture books

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Near the top….
