What did you like about the book? I appreciated the clear, illustrated concepts of mapping and navigating, along with organized chapters that step by step outline the how-to do it with children. The Real-life Explorer and author Justin Miles focuses on simple explanations, building necessary skills, ensuring safety in the wilderness, and GPS/ geocaching. The book has plenty of colorful illustrations for the visual learner.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No

To whom would you recommend this book?  STEM teachers, scout leaders, outdoor educators, parents who want to share their love of hiking and outdoors with children

Who should buy this book? Elementary, middle and high school librarians, outdoor educators

Where would you shelve it ? STEM books, Outdoor education
