What did you like about the book? Paper Hearts follows two girls, Zlatka and Fania, who become friends in Auschwitz. They defend each other and their friends through unspeakable horrors. I loved the strong female heroines; they were so brave and kind to each other despite being in a desperate situation day after day.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No

To whom would you recommend this book?  Students who like to read about the Holocaust and students who like strong female heroines and strong friendships will like this book.

Who should buy this book? all middle and high school libraries should have this book in their collection

Where would you shelve it ? Historical Fiction
