What did you like about the book? This board book is a must have for any young child who loves fire engines. Written in child friendly terms, this book follows a little boy who first plays with his fire engine and then fantasizes about being a fireman with his own fire truck. It shows him at the fire station, eating a snack in the kitchen and doing chores at the fire station. It has lots of fire engines so toddlers who are obsessed with fire engines will have lots to look at.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? My 18 month grandson loves this book. There is a small window when this book will be a hit with toddlers, too young and they won’t appreciate it, and too old, they will think it is too babyish.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  Yes

Reviewer’s Name, Library (or school), City and State: Sandra Pacheco, ESL teacher, Washington, D.C.
