What did you like about the book? Each day of the week is filled with construction vehicles doing their thing. Written in verse, this rhyming picture book has lots of animals building, pouring, loading and towing. It’s a book where children will see lots of vehicles, but also learn a great deal of vocabulary around constructing a playground. It is a very busy book with lots of action.

Anything you didn’t like about it? Although I loved the illustrations, the text sometimes seemed forced, in order to fit it into rhyme.

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? The pictures will appeal to younger toddlers (18 month +). The text will appeal to older toddlers. Children learning English will learn lots of new vocabulary words.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  Yes
