What did you like about the book? A little girl is waiting for the first snowfall. It snows all night and in the morning she puts on her mittens, scarf, cap and boots with a new ski jacket and pants. She is ready! She waves to the snowplow man, shovels the walk and builds a snowman. Then she goes sledding and comes home for hot chocolate, a totally perfect and full day of snow. Simple, cheerful illustrations illustrate this simple celebration.

Anything you didn’t like about it? Not a thing.

To whom would you recommend this book? Read this to kids who are waiting for snow – if you live somewhere that there IS snow.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries, day-care centers and kindergartens

Where would you shelve it? Picture books

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No, but a great resource for those kids waiting for snow.
