What did you like about the book? Poor Moomin has lost both his girlfriend and his money. He is feeling desperately low when he is picked up by a couple in a rowboat who take him home. Incredibly they turn out to be his long-lost parents! So all are overjoyed with the reunion. At the beach, Moomin encounters Shadow who has been following him for three months. Shadow is desperate to do something to make Moomin happy and he knows the best thing would be finding Snork Maiden and he does! Everyone is reunited, the money is regained and the wacky Moomins live on!

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book? To those who love Tove Jansson and to those who don’t know of her.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries and elementary school libraries.

Where would you shelve it? Comic books/graphic novels

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? If you are a Moomin fan, yes.
