What did you like about the book? This book explores ten subjects from the inside out. Ten different illustrators each take a topic and explore it. Each category looks different due to the different illustrator. 101 wonders of the world, from animals, to everyday objects are displayed in the book. On one page is the object from the outside with text giving facts about it, and on the opposite fold out page, there is the same object with the insides detailed. This book is so full of information that it would take a very curious child a very long time to read it. I liked the classifications including “earth and space” and “buildings.” The book is sturdy, with a padded cover and the fold out pages look like they can withstand a lot of use.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Curious children and adults will love this book. It is packed with information, pictures and details. Children ages 8 and older would appreciate it.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  Yes
