What did you like about the book? This is a great book about a dog named Plum and a cat named Binky who moves in next door. Plum is used to be the center of attention and the one getting all the love, and is having a hard time thinking there is enough love to go around. Binky follows him around everywhere and steals the show. When Plum’s jealousy gets out of hand, he realizes there really is enough love to go around. I especially loved the illustrations in this book. Both Plum and Binky have a personality that shows through in the illustrations.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Children who love dogs will love this book and also children who are having to share the love of their parents once a new sibling has come into the family.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  Yes
