What did you like about the book? This is a sweet book about a little girl turning into a big girl once her baby brother comes on the scene. It’s about sharing, accepting and having fun with the new baby, without all the frustration and anger that is usually portrayed in new baby meets the family books. The illustrations are reminiscent of an older time and not until I read the back flap did I make the connection with the style of drawing. The author’s grandfather drew the comic strip “Family Circus” and the drawings remind me of that. The story isn’t overly long, and will keep a young child’s attention.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Young children ages 2-4 will love this book, especially little girls who have just had a little brother come into their lives.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  Yes
