What did you like about the book? This brightly colored book tells a worldwide creation story. Each page highlights a different culture and the author presents elements of the creation story from that culture. It’s a book that shows the commonality of people while also celebrating the differences. I also liked how the style of the drawings on each page reflected the culture they portrayed.

Anything you didn’t like about it? Initially I wasn’t drawn to it, as it seemed too busy, but once I realized that it is geared toward older children, it made more sense.

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Older elementary school children will understand the book.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  yes
