Format: Hardcover

Rating:  1-5 (5 is an excellent or a Starred review) 4

What did you like about the book? I loved The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and although grittier and more violent, this story impressed me as well.

It was a moving story that looked at the corruption of innocence and how we can become complicit in terrible deeds by simply not speaking out against them. The ending was beautifully emotional, leaving the reader with a powerful message to ponder.

Anything you didn’t like about it? Nothing.

To whom would you recommend this book?  Mature readers, grades 5-8.

Who should buy this book? School and public libraries

Where would you shelve it? Fiction/Historical Fiction

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Close
