What did you like about the book? It’s high school graduation night. Thomas will be going into the military the next day just like his hero brother and father. At least that’s what everyone thinks. But Thomas’s brother Jake came back from the war shell-shocked, incapable of doing much of anything. Thomas fears he will end up the same so he is going to escape, just drive away in his truck in the morning instead of reporting for duty. When Mallory, his best friend growing up, asks him for a ride home from a party, Thomas is shocked; they have not spoken for seven years! And thus begins a wild and crazy night. The story here is so unique, the characters so real and riveting.

Anything you didn’t like about it? It ended…..

To whom would you recommend this book? Give this to those who like John Green and Dana Reinhardt.

Who should buy this book? All public and high school libraries

Where would you shelve it? YA fiction

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? YES!!!
