What did you like about the book? Mr. Moon says good night to Miss Sun as he takes up his job of making sure the world is ready for you when you awake the next day. He sees to the clouds being fluffed, the sheep counted and the cows landing safely as they jump over the moon. This fantastical book is pure fun, from the whimsical illustrations to the author’s choice of night-time activities that he oversees. The moon is portrayed as a comforting force that young children can look to when they’re having trouble sleeping. Although this book takes place at night, it wasn’t a dark book.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book, especially the Rousseau like drawings.

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? Children ages 3-6 will love the illustrations.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  yes
