What did you like about the book? These wacky, fun-loving illustrations are perfect for this book about a girl baking with her dad. Right down to the very messy kitchen when they are finished, this book shows the fun and reality of what it’s like to bake a cake with dad. I liked the fact that it was just the girl and her dad, no mother. I also liked the image of the party at the end of the story with lots of culturally diverse families portrayed.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about this book.

To Whom Would You Recommend this book? This is a great book about the bond of a girl with her dad. It is especially good for a child who is raised by her dad. It is recommended for children ages 3-8.

Who should buy this book? all libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  yes
