 Format: Hardcover

Rating: : 1-5 (5 is an excellent or a Starred review) 3

What did you like about the book? Billy Shivers loves books and so do all the characters in this fun, twisty tale celebrating the classic ghost story. Inside Mr. Rapscallion’s Haunted Book Store, Billy meets other ghost story aficionados and joins a small tribe of ghost story explorers.

Anything you didn’t like about it? The adults are a bit snarky.

To whom would you recommend this book?  This will appeal to fans of ghost stories. Mr. Kerr wrote the Children of the Lamp Series, and this book would appeal to those readers, too.

Who should buy this book? This book is suitable for middle readers (grades 4-6).

Where would you shelve it ? Juvenile Fiction Mystery

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No
