Format: Board book

Rating: (1-5 5 is a starred review)  3

Genre:  Picture book

What did you like about the book? This is a picture book of photographs of different kinds of shoes.  The story talks about a shoe for every job. It shows pictures of people doing different jobs and asks the questions of “Whose shoe” under the picture. It’s a colorful book and one that might interest very young children who notice all different kinds of shoes.

Anything you didn’t like about it? It’s more of an informational book, without a story. Only very young children will like it and it isn’t a book that I can see read over and over.

To whom would you recommend this book: The book is recommended for children ages 0 and up.

Who should buy this book? Elementary school libraries

Where would you shelve it ? Children’s Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  Maybe for the colorful photographs,

Reviewer’s Name, Library (or school), City and State: Sandra Pacheco, ESL teacher, Washington, D.C.
