What did you like about the book?  Sweet little Sophie Mouse is back for her eighth chapter book adventure.  Sophie is very excited that her family is hosting a dinner party and she has even painted place cards for everyone.  When there is a disaster with dessert, Sophie feels she has failed as a hostess.  The next day when Sophie is at home alone, she rescues a little bird named Finch and is soon hosting Finch and his friends in her home.  The ten short chapters are filled with numerous black and white illustrations that complement the story and break up the text for early chapter book readers.  This one is another winner.
