What did you like about the book? A baby tries his best to communicate with his family but it is hard when all you can say is “Bah!” Still, his Mom, Sister and Brother try their best to figure out the meaning. Is it ball? bottle? book? Baby’s confusion and his family’s excitement are perfectly depicted in the bright illustrations. Some words are shown in bright thought bubbles as is a “?” when Baby is confronted with a wrong guess. Finally, the mystery is solved when they realize that Baby is saying “Bye-Bye!” Children will love the story and the illustrations and might be able to guess what Baby is saying before the adults do.
Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to-read” piles? Yes, for fun.
