Just as Quincie Morris is about to open a new vampire-themed resteraunt with her uncle, an exciting endeavor, she hopes, their head chef is murdered. The last-minute stress is getting to her and then, on top of that, her best friend, the boy that she loves, Kieren, tells her of his imminent departure. He is a half-werewolf and must find a Pack to stay with for protection, leaving her forever. Quincie feels so alone and afraid, but then Henry Johnson is hired as the new vampire chef and he seems to always be there for her. Will Quincie let first loves go and take a chance with Henry or is there something more should know about this vampire chef?
Tantalize is an amazing book whether you’re a vampire fan or not. A truly poignant tale of love but a heart-wrenching ending. This story will have you questioning if you should second guess your interpretations of people.
