Teddy Roosevelt, Mahatma Gandhi, Queen Elizabeth, Helen Keller and the guest list goes on and on for the dress-up biography tea party for Mrs. Harrow’s fourth grade class. Well written and very humorous, this book will delight its readers. And as we learn, Riley O’Rourke aka Teddy Roosevelt learns to overcome some great obstacles to reach his final goal of finding a saxophone to learn to play for the school band. The lessons of working hard and never giving up your dream lead to a wonderful conclusion. The illustrations by R.W. Alley add much to the story and the pleasure of this book. “Bully” for TR, Riley, his friends and Claudia Mills for writing “Being Teddy Roosevelt.”
